They stayed with during this competition which was held for the first time at Cullinane College; and involved: debating, religious questions, impromptu speech, religious drama, scripture reading and oratory.

The boys and their accompanying staff members were a pleasure to have at Midtown.

The aim of the Underground brand is to encourage, build self-esteem and give oppurtunities that are not always available to youth.

This year Manawatu, Taranaki and surrounding regions were involved and there was a crowd of over 1100 spectators.

A real credit to the dedication of the youth in this years show.

The 1st Anzac Day was on the 25th April 1916 – first anniversary of the ANZAC landing in Gallipoli. Through the organisation & commitment of the Returned Servicemen this was recognised by the government as a holy day in 1922.

Walk up to the cenotaph where a sevice will be held for those whom have passed away.

Following the service there will be the tradional “rum & coffee” ( signifying the tot of  rum which was the tradional pre-battle ration) or tea / coffee served in the Memorial Hall.

The RSA  (St. Hill Street) are open for Breakfast / Dinner /Tea.

Watch or participate in the Open Womans, Open Mens, Senior Womans or Senior Mens.

This current game of Petanque originated in La Ciotat - a Province of Southern France.

It is a popular sport as well as a fun social game.

This is 5th bi-annual Charity Classic Car Show being hosted by the Rotary Club South of Wanganui.

This is a very popular show with some exhibits drawn from large collections and not often opened garages along with a vast array of classic cars, trucks and motorcycles.
